A video from the last day of traffic on the old single track section in Varberg, and the old station area. After the 8th of June 2025 no more trains will traffic the line. Until the middle of July there will be bus replacements, and thereafter trains will run past the new station and the tunnel under the city. This video will therefore be our last video from the single track section in Varberg.


Filmed in Varberg, along the west coast line, in Halland, on the 8th of June 2025. The video contains the trains X2000 (X2, X2K, X2U, X2C), X55, X32K, X31K, ET, X14, Rc4P, Rc4, Rd2, Re, Br, locomotive 243, locomotive 241, locomotive 193, locomotive 187 and diesel locomotive T44. The trains were in service as SJ High-speed train (SJ X2000, SJ 3000), Snälltåget, Øresundståg, Västtåg, TXLogistik freight train, SHN Cargo freight train, Hector Rail freight train, Green Cargo freight train and Grenland Rail service train.

During the weekend the 7-8 of June traffic was closed on parts of the Southern mainline. Therefore several freight trains and passenger trains from the Southern Mainline were rerouted to the west coast line.
