in 1844, john gould found this finches. he loved his wife. so, he kept the bird name as lady gouldian finches.

height of the gouldian finches is 5 inches and the weight of the gouldian finches is 12g. the gouldian finches has 4 colours. colour variations in head, chest, abdominal and then backside.

we can find gender identification in gouldian finches by seeing there colour. the male gouldian finches have very bright colours than the female goudian finches.

cage size for gouldian finches is 2×1.5×1.5 feet. the cage should be covered by any cloth or cardboard in all sides other than front side. these gouldian finches need more privacy. these type of birds likes egg food very much.
there are 3 types of mutations of gouldian finches. the mutations of gouldian finches depend upon the head colours.
