In breaking news, Chinese media has announced that China and the U.S. will meet in Switzerland shortly to discuss trade issues, the first official contact between the two sides since Trump’s April 2 tariffs went into effect.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who was recently forced to out his boss as a liar by admitting, under oath, that no contact has yet been made between the two sides, will represent the United States in the one-on-one discussion.

This comes after China’s defiance against Trump’s tariff war has given other countries and regions the courage to stand up and push back.

That includes the European Union, who have agreed on some massive deals with China, and Japan who, despite first heading to DC and acting like Trump fan boys, are now threatening to sell of some of their massive holdings of US debt.

On top of that, Finance Ministers from ASEAN countries released a statement of unity in light of Trump’s tariffs.
