近江八幡の桜 : Omi Hachiman and Cherryblosso（Shiga, Japan）

八幡堀を中心に桜を求めて散策いたしました。途中のヴォーリーズ建築や菜の花畑なども見どころ満載でした。

【Ōmi-Hachiman】
Omihachiman City is a castle town built by Toyotomi Hidetsugu. After that, it developed as a commercial city. It is the birthplace of so-called Omi merchants.
This is often used as a shooting place for Japanese historical drama. It is also known as the place where William Merrell Vories lived and left behind many modern architectural works.
