A Magic Bean is an inventory item that was added in the 11/25/2018 update. It can be used to summon a random sprout in the field the player is standing in. When one is planted, a server-wide message will appear saying, "🌱{Username} has planted a (Sprout Type) Sprout...🌱".

As a reward from the Stick Bug Challenge.

As a stack reward for adding certain Stickers to the Sticker Stack:
Forward Facing Aphid rewards 1 magic bean.
Round Green Critter rewards 1 magic bean.
Flying Magenta Critter rewards 1 magic bean.
Blue Triangle Critter rewards 1 magic bean.
Purple Pointed Critter rewards 1 magic bean.
Orange Leg Critter rewards 1 magic bean.

Completing Brown Bear's 55th, 120th, 190th, 220th and 280th quest each reward 1 magic bean.
Science Bear gives magic beans on the following quests:
Subsidized Agriculture yields 1 magic bean upon receiving the quest.

Testing Teamwork rewards 3 magic beans and other items.
