Well its now been a full year since the Bridgewater canal breached at Dunham Massey in Cheshire, on the 1st of January 2025! I honestly can't believe it's been a year already! So today we'll take a look back at the 28 days we were stuck at the Bridgewater canal breach! From that fateful morning at 6am, when I went outside all delirious, as to why the boat was listing and the water, which should have been still, as it's a canal, was rushing at 3mph back to Manchester! We'll then go through the next 27 days and how Peel Holdings reacted and how fast they got things done, as a way to compare it to the Llangollen canal breach! Until the 28th of January, when we finally escaped the Bridgewater Canal breach!
