This is no ordinary buggy. It’s a limited-production machine designed to combine the playful freedom of a beach buggy with the engineering precision of high-performance motorsport. The result? A raw, extreme vehicle that revs all the way past 11,000 RPM, delivering thrills that few off-roaders could ever match.

Making its surprise debut at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, the LFG immediately drew attention with its unique stance and futuristic design. It maintains the familiar Meyers Manx tub silhouette but takes things to another level with a custom carbon fiber body, wide fenders, and exposed wheels that scream performance. From the start, it’s clear that this isn’t just a nostalgic throwback—it’s a complete reinvention of what a buggy can be.

The styling is aggressive yet playful. At the front, the LFG features unique pill-shaped LED headlights and an integrated bull bar, giving it a rugged personality. Side steps and removable gullwing-style doors add both function and flair, while a roll-over protection bar reinforces safety. It rides on large rally-style alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, with generous ground clearance making it ready for any surface. Whether on sand dunes, dirt trails, or rocky paths, the LFG looks ready to conquer it all.

Inside, the cockpit strikes a balance between technology and raw driving feel. A set of digital displays replaces the traditional dashboard, but drivers still get plenty of physical controls for core functions, including a beautifully crafted three-spoke steering wheel, a high-mounted gear shifter, and even a hydraulic handbrake for dramatic slides. Speaking of speed, the real magic lies under the hood. The LFG is powered by a 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine, derived from the screaming 3.1-liter motor used in Tuthill’s 911K restomod. The engine is paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox, sending power to all four wheels through a full-time 4WD system with limited-slip differentials. Combine that with advanced suspension featuring adjustable dampers, hydraulic bump stops, and a lightweight Inconel exhaust, and the LFG is set to deliver both jaw-dropping performance and an unforgettable soundtrack.

Phillip Sarofim, owner of Trousdale Ventures, which oversees Meyers Manx, described the project as a dream collaboration with Richard Tuthill. He emphasized that the LFG was designed to embody the perfect buggy—raw, visceral, and uncompromising. With legendary designer Freeman Thomas contributing to the styling, the result is a vehicle that captures both nostalgia and innovation.

Production of the Meyers Manx LFG will be extremely limited, with only 100 units scheduled starting in 2026. While pricing has not yet been revealed, it’s clear that ownership will be more than just about the vehicle. Buyers will be invited to participate in exclusive global driving adventures, including the first LFG Baja Tour in 2027. This ensures that owning the LFG isn’t just about parking it in a garage—it’s about living the buggy lifestyle to the fullest.
