EV Charging Safety: What to Look for in an EVSE

When choosing an electric vehicle charging station (EVSE) for your home, it is important to make sure that it is safety certified. This means that it has been tested by a nationally recognized testing laboratory (NRTL) to ensure that it meets all relevant safety standards.

Enphase Energy EVSEs are all UL or ETL listed, which means that they have been tested and certified to meet the highest safety standards. We also use NEMA 4 enclosures on all of our EVSEs, which means that they are fully sealed and watertight.
