On October 17th, I, Gary Hightower had the pleasure of hosting a podcast at the Golf Club of Houston during the Fuel Relief Fund (FRF) charity golf event. This event included a shotgun start, an awards ceremony, and a dinner at the course’s Halfway House, where I also sponsored a hospitality station.

During the podcast, I spoke with a diverse group of individuals, ranging from Boston firefighters to a young Dutch military officer who dedicates two weeks each year to work with FRF. These interviews highlighted the invaluable support local governments provide and the profound gratitude of those receiving FRF’s free fuel deliveries amidst disasters.

Our guests shared their experiences and the significant impact FRF has made worldwide, including in Africa and Turkey, showcasing their dedication and enthusiasm for the organization's mission.

Mission Statement: Fuel Relief Fund (FRF) is a global nonprofit organization providing free fuel to communities in crisis. Founded in 2009, FRF responds to natural disasters, and complex emergencies, supplying fuel to power generators, vehicles, and essential equipment. This enables first responders, medical teams, and affected residents to access power, clean water, and transportation. Partnering with organizations like Sun Coast Resources, Chevron, Help NGO, and Airlink, FRF is able to reach remote and hard-hit areas swiftly. Their recent efforts include fuel distribution in response to Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, ensuring critical aid reaches those in need. FRF's mission is to deliver hope and energy in times of need in the form of free fuel.
