To get the video shots I needed I had to take the camera off the tripod and moving around looking at the starter and the connections on it and a mystery disconnected cable that goes to a box on the firewall. I think it might plug into the generator need to get in closer look at the maintenance manuals to be sure. The carburetor is a single barrel carter carb that is wrong for this engine. The linkage is frozen solid so not sure if I can free it up and use it or get new pull cables. anyway its really muddy have to try and move it to pressure wash it.
Note: Found out the renegade cable I found connects to the bottom of the distributor. That's what I am dealing with in this truck either parts have been removed or parts have been disconnected with no rhyme or reason. to why. The metal housing for the distributor housing is fine but the cap screwed into it has broken plastic where someone tried to shove normal plug wires in it so I need a new one of those. more money. My new information placards are on the way and also the NOS Army star decals for the hood and both doors that are 15" stars the same as the Original Army ones.
