This video compares our 4 different mesh head lines for e-drums in terms of playability/rebound as well as noise level. Their development & construction is based on 10 years of experience working exclusively with e-drums.

We advise you to use headphones or a good amplifying system while watching, so you can precisely hear & see the differences between the heads!

1) drum-tec design mesh head:

best seller ++ white ++ double ply ++ quietly ++ very good rebound ++ best trigger results ++ long life

This professional mesh head was initially designed for our high-end electronic drum series drum-tec pro + drum-tec diabolo, but also gets used to upgrade Roland or Alesis mesh kits sometimes. Since 2006, the design mesh head is our best selling model and and a very good all-rounder for all applications.

2) drum-tec real feel mesh head:

white ++ triple layer ++ quietly ++ unique real feel rebound ++ perfect trigger results ++ very long life -

Three layers of highest-grade fabric material reduce the rebound to almost the exact level of an acoustic kit. The real feel mesh head visually represents our premium level product and still is almost as quiet as the design mesh heads. Never before has e-drumming been more authentic!

3) drum-tec pro mesh head: black:

++ one ply ++ very thick material ++ higher basic volume ++ very authentic rebound.

This highly durable mesh head has been developed specifically for e- drummers, who desire a maximum of authentic feel. The infamous "tennis racket effect” is almost completely eliminated by the pro´s special fabric material, the playing feel is absolutely authentic. This results in a somewhat higher basic volume, which makes it nice for practicing without a sound module also.

drum-tec basic mesh head:

white or black ++ one ply ++ almost noiseless ++ strong rebound

Well made mesh head with good price / performance ratio to trigger an acoustic set or for use on e-drum pads. The Basic Series is also a cost-effective bottom/resonant mesh head .
