3 Plane Crashes in 24 Hours?

In less than a week’s time, there have been four major commercial aviation incidents, two of them involving a horrifying amount of souls lost, those being the events of Azerbaijan Airlines flight 8243 and Jeju Air flight 2216. Our deepest condolences go out to the souls lost onboard these flights, and to those affected.

It’s said that the downing of Azerbaijan Airlines flight 8243 was caused by a mid-air Russian missile explosion, as there was war drone activity in the region prior to the aircraft's arrival. Shrapnel struck the aircraft above its intended destination in Grozny, Russia, possibly destroying the hydraulics of the aircraft, leading to a crash on the other side of the Caspian Sea in Aktau, Kazakhstan. The flight was supposedly denied landing in Russia, hence why it had to fly over the Caspian Sea.

While still recent, the crash of Jeju Air flight 2216 involved a birdstrike upon landing at Muan airport, South Korea, where a go-around was then preformed, followed by a quick teardrop maneuver, and a belly landing with no flaps as the Boeing 737-800's hydraulic system is said to have possibly been malfunctioned (possibly by the birdstrike). The aircraft slammed into a concrete barrier at the end of the runway.
