Army boots | Made in Ukraine

Army boots are high-heeled boots with laces that are an obligatory component of any army set around the world. Lace-up boots fix the ankle cuff enough to reduce the risk of strain. In colloquial language, they are known as ‘Bertsi,’ which is assumed to have been derived from the word‘shinbone’. The name is also explained by the laces and upper element of the boots that are meant to protect the tibia. Lace-up boots first appeared during WW II for the needs of paratrooper brigades. By the late 60s, the U.S. army had fully switched to ankle boots, whereas USSR still supplied its army with tarpaulin boots.
