"Fuck! The intro into this video is so tight."

"Stuart Errol "Stu" Ungar was born on September 8th in 1953. He died on November 22nd in 1998. He is considered, by a number of insiders and poker analysts, to be one of the best and most talented poker players in the world. Along with Johnny Moss, he was the only player who won three times at the World Series of Poker main event.

In his turbulent and lucrative career, Ungar won over $3,600,000 in tournaments, five WSOP bracelets and over $2,000,000 at the WSOP. He also ranked first in ten Texas hold 'em major no-limit events. Considering the fact that he participated in thirty of such tournaments, he still holds the statistical record.

Ungar won three main events at the Amarillo Slim's Super Bowl of Poker in 1984, 1988 and 1989, which was, at that time, the second most prestigious poker title in the world. Amarillo Slim stated that, "Stu musta won a million dollars in my competitions."

The Emmy-winning ESPN narrative “One of a Kind: The Rise and Fall of Stu Ungar” was filmed in 2006. It contained meetings with his wife, daughter and a few other individuals who knew him. The film also shows excerpts from tapes he recorded in the most recent year of his life for an autobiographic film which was never made." #Poker #Legend #StuUngar
