Spec Miata Thunderhill Turn 8 rollover crash, second camera

Wet to dry mixed conditions at SCCA Spec Miata race on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Thunderhill raceway. GoPro camera viewpoint. Mud and oil smeared on windshield, but camera makes it look worse than it is. Track dry at apex but I appear to be just slightly wide of the dry line. After a major oversteer and overcorrection I fly off exit of turn 8 at a bad angle at 90 mph. Fortunately uninjured, self extracted from the overturned car.

This is my first (hopefully only) big crash, and for anyone watching, when planning all the safety elements of your car, considering practicing extracting yourself out the window, knowing where the fire extinguisher or fire system control is, how to get out the passenger side if you need, how to turn off the master electric switch, etc. My car luckily did not catch on fire but I smelled gas and have been doing a lot of reflecting on the situation.
