FRENCH VERB CONJUGATION: IR VERBS - PRESENT TENSE

Описание к видео FRENCH VERB CONJUGATION: IR VERBS - PRESENT TENSE

French verb conjugation of ir verbs / second group verbs in the present tense. In this French grammar lesson, Cindy, a native French teacher, teaches you how to conjugate IR verbs in the present tense.

Whilst a lot of French verbs ending in IR are regular, and so belong in the second group and follow the normal conjugating rules, a lot of verbs ending in IR are irregular and actually belong in the third group. What this means is that not all the French verbs ending in IR have a predictable conjugation. In order to determine whether an ir verb is regular and so belongs in the second group of French verbs, look either at the nous form of the verb in the present tense. If it ends in issons, then the verb is regular. Alternatively, if the present participle of the verb ends in issant, it is also a regular verb.
