Jay Lefevers, the founder of CancerBiz.com (https://www.cancerbiz.com), is a businessman and a two-time survivor after experiences with a brain tumor (Hermangiopericytoma) and cancer (Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma). He is also the author of “Cancer on the Brain,” a memoir and true story of his battles with a brain tumor and then cancer, while running a business, being a husband and father, and coaching an inner-city Little League team to baseball victory.
CancerBiz.com is devoted to directly aiding and promoting the enterprises of cancer survivors, patients and caregivers. While there are many support groups and organizations which help cancer survivors and/or caregivers through the emotional, mental and physical toll cancer can inflict on a person, there are few forums which promote and aid the enterprise they may operate, or the service or products they might offer.
CancerBiz.com is the first international directory whereby consumers can search and directly contact and conduct business with cancer survivors or caregivers.
Vendors are located all over the globe and operate businesses, provide services and sell products, with the commonality of being cancer survivors, patients or caregivers. All vendors are screened and verified as survivors or caregivers and owners or partners of a trade or venture.
Jay is also a Managing Director for Colliers, an international real estate firm, and as a movie buff invests in Hollywood films, including Bunyan and Babe, a 2017 animated film, The Hero of Color City, a 2014 animated film, and 2011’s Another Happy Day starring Demi Moore, Ellen Barkin and Kate Bosworth.
