Join us as we take a closer look at a very special Maserati, one of just 20 Zagato-bodied A6G/54 Berlinettas and likely the only A6G/54 with a “Double-Bubble” Zagato roof. This stunning example will be offered for sale at the upcoming Monterey Jet Center Auction this 17-18 August. Impressively, it was raced in the 1956 Mille Miglia and later in life restored in Italy, exquisitely refined by Paul Russell and Company. Fully documented with digital copies of Maserati build sheets, factory and Zagato correspondence, period photography and comprehensively researched by Adolfo Orsi and includes an Orsi Report. A former class award at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, part of Maserati's centennial celebration at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance it is very much eligible for all manner of top level vintage touring events including the Mille Miglia.
