The Absolute Ceiling Of Your Aircraft - [When Your Plane Cannot Climb No More].

Описание к видео The Absolute Ceiling Of Your Aircraft - [When Your Plane Cannot Climb No More].

This video is about the Absolute Ceiling of your Aircraft.

By the end of this content, you will understand what is this ceiling and what is the difference compared to your Maximum Operating Altitude.

The Absolute Ceiling is the altitude at which your aircraft won't be able to produce and rate of climb.

This is so because the density of the Air decreases with the altitude and with lower density the aircraft performance will get worse.

So, due to the poor performances of your plane you can only sustain a level flight or a descent.

This ceiling is tested during the flight tests and it is not used during flight operations.

The Maximum Operating Altitude is the Maximum Altitude at which you can fly during normal operation.

The Max Operating Altitude is the lowest of Max Certified Altitude (that takes into account the structural limits of the plane), Thrust limited (Performance/Thurst Limit), and Buffet limited (Aerodynamic Limit) altitude.

As you can imagine the Maximum Operating Altitude is way than the Absolute Ceiling.
