2007 Honda Pilot spark plug replacement

Описание к видео 2007 Honda Pilot spark plug replacement

It’s been 100,000 km since my last spark plug change on our 2007 Honda Pilot and I recently replaced the valve cover gaskets and spark plug tube seals but didn’t have new spark plugs to install at the time.

This video shows a how to replace spark plugs on a Honda Pilot, and the procedure should be similar for 2003 to 2008 Honda Pilots with the 3.5L SOHC vtec engine. You’ll need the following:

6 NGK platinum spark plugs (part no.ZFR5BGP / stock no.90804) gapped to 0.044”
Spark plug gap tool
10mm socket and ratchet (or wrench) to loosen the bolt holding the negative battery cable on to the battery
5/8” spark plug socket or Gearwrench 5/8” magnetic spark plug tool model no. 80546 (my preference)
3/8” Ratchet
6mm hex bit or allen key
Small flat head screwdriver (maybe)
3/8” torque wrench capable of 13 ft.lb.
Anti-seize compound
Dielectric grease
Spark plug gap 0.044”
Spark plug torque 13 ft.lb.
Ignition coil bolt 7.4 ft.lb.
