Ikea Tradfri smart lights - Start smart lighting and home automation with a small budget

Thought of buying and trying out smart lighting but don't know where to start? Too many smart home automation systems and don't know which one to go into? Start with Ikea's Smart Bulb and Dimmer Switch combo pack, and
expand to home automation systems and mobile app control in future.

In this video, I will show how we can start our smart lighting journey with Ikea trådfri smart lighting. Save by starting with Ikea smart bulb and stand-alone switch combo pack.
When we are comfortable and experience the convenience of controlling lights using a wireless switch, we can then expand into either (1) control Ikea lightings using Ikea trådfri gateway hub for mobile app and away from home control; or (2) expand even further to use with home automation systems using Samsung Smartthings.

Lumen is the measurement of light output.

White bulb colour temperature is different from colour bulb colours.
Warm white, cool white, daylight which we are familiar with, are called colour temperature.
