Kannur International Airport is getting its wings ready to soar high. This will be the second greenfield airport in Kerala, being built on public private partnership model in an area of about 2000 acres. 48 check in counters, 16 emigration counters, 8 customs counter, 6 aero-bridges, and the runway length of 3050 metre has been completed. This will be extended to 4000 metres, all this helps elevate Kannur Airport to an international level. This soon to be opened airport is the fourth largest airport in India.
