General Synod Service 2021

The Service of Holy Communion for the 2021 General Synod of the Church of Ireland was broadcast online this morning (Thursday, 30th September); the service was mainly recorded at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh, with contributions from across the Church of Ireland.

The Rt Revd Andrew Forster, Bishop of Derry and Raphoe, preached on Nehemiah 8:1–12 and Luke 10:1–12, from St Augustine’s Church, on the Walls of Derry, and reflected on the life of St Columba who built his first abbey on that site.
