Backyard Duck Coop

Our Backyard Duck Coop House with Run and Pool or Mini Pond. Almost complete, just need to build a permanent ramp, put all weather material on the coop roof and linoleum or glassboard on the coop floor. Also need to add vents to the coop and maybe paint the walls for better weather resistance since only the floor and back door are pressure treated wood. Took about 2 ten hour days to get this done and that's with me being not even close to professional carpenter. It was fun though, good time spent with my son and daughters. The hardest part was the metal cage material which is called hardware cloth. I watched a ton of videos on here and took some ideas I found here as well as from our local Amish market that sells things similar to this. We actually priced something very similar at the Amish market and it was almost $1700. I think we've spent about $600 on materials so far and probably will spend another $100 or so to finish.
