Digitrax Routes with a DT602

Описание к видео Digitrax Routes with a DT602

In this video, I demonstrate how to set up routes on a Digitrax DCC system using a DT602 throttle.

Key points to take away:
1. Check to see if your Digitrax command station supports routes, and enable them through Op Switches if necessary.
2. Only DT series throttles can setup routes. UT series cannot.
3. The DT602 type throttle has a much easier menu than a 400/500 series throttle.
4. A UT6 type throttle can operate a route through its switch menu. However, since it does not have separate Throw and Close buttons, you must press the "F" key until the switches in the route operate. Sometimes it will operate the first time, sometimes you have to press it a second time.

Summary of the steps. First, write down the list of switches and what position they need to be in for a particular route. In the Route Edit menu on the throttle, add those switches to the list, remembering to include whether they need to be thrown or closed. The last switch address you need to enter is the phantom address you want to control the route. Do NOT click "add", instead just click "save". This will keep the phantom address in the TOP position on the list. Use the left throttle knob to scroll through the lists (#1-32). Once on a list, use the right knob to scroll down the list to highlight a previous switch address. If you need to delete an address from the list, highlight the address and use the "delete" key in the top right of the display.
