INGREDIENTS :
2 cups dry shrimp/prawns
1 fresh coconut grated
1 sliced onion
1 tbsp ginger chopped

For the paste
3 tbsp grated coconut
small lemon size ginger
1 big garlic cloves
3-4 dry red chillies
2-3 tbsp lime juice
pinch of turmeric powder
salt to taste

METHOD :
Roast shrimps/prawns until aromatic(crisp) and keep aside to cool. Wash thoroughly 2-3 times sieve and keep aside to drain water completely.
Slightly roast/burn on open flame dry chilis and add all paste ingredients, ginger, garlic, 3 tbsp coconut grated in the grinding jar with little water and grind to a coarse paste.
Add the ground paste to the mixing ball, coconut grated, 1 tbsp ginger, sliced onion, lime juice, turmeric powder, salt, and 1 tsp chili powder, and combine well and it's done.
Serve this chutney with steamed rice as a side dish.
