How To Make Colorado Bulldogs

Colorado Bulldogs are one of the easiest cocktails to make at home...and one of the most delicious too! All you need are a few boozy ingredients and this recipe!

Back in my bartending days, I served of A LOT of these sweet and creamy cocktails and I learned a few things when it came to making the ABSOLUTE best Colorado Bulldogs around!

Here are a few things that make this Colorado Bulldog legitimately amazing: First of all, the Kahlua to vodka ratio. Unless you just LOVE the flavor of vodka, for the best tasting Colorado Bulldog, make it even pour between the two. Next, the dairy! For a smoother sipping bulldog with less burn from the alcohol, try using a higher fat dairy like half-and-half and even cream! The cream will turn it into a bit more of a decadent treat, but man -- it is a yummy one. You could also use whole milk or half-and-half!

Last, add in some Coca Cola! If you prefer Pepsi or Dr. Pepper, you could sub either of those in as well.

And lastly, to make it extra special, you can deck it out with a whipped cream topping and chocolate drizzle garnish...or not.

Then, all that's left is to enjoy (responsibly, of course 😉).
