We all know that the IPL is very famous in India.
In that every team has few best players. So that teams get good advertisement money.
So CSK has the highest fan following because of MS Dhoni.
But soon he is retiring from the IPL.
Therefore, the CSK team is looking for another famous player to take over his role.
Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson might be traded to Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Though CSK officially said no.
But past transfers like Hardik Pandya moving from Gujarat to Mumbai were also initially dismissed but later confirmed.
Former Indian cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth said Sanju will be the best in CSK.
From a team management view, Rajasthan Royals has built their squad around Sanju and retained him for ₹18 crore.
But letting him go suddenly could destabilize the team structure.
Rajasthan Royals haven’t won the IPL trophy since 2008.
Their only recent appearance in the IPL final was in 2022.
If they are planning to make Riyan Parag the captain, that might be a reason for releasing Sanju.
Srikkanth said if Rajasthan releases Sanju, he would immediately pick him for CSK.
He called Sanju a brilliant player who is also hugely popular in Chennai with a strong brand image.
Srikkanth believes that Dhoni might still play this season, but it is unlikely he will play the next.
