Stoner By John Williams (Book Review)

Hello everyone and welcome to my new book review of Stoner by John Williams. Before you ask "isn't he that composer?" well no, like you, that's what I thought at first.

This book came to me through the YouTube algorithm. For some reason, everyone was raving about this book so this is what I was seeing come up in YT Shorts, so I decided to read it. My copy was a beat up copy I bought at a second hand book store and when I read it, I LOVED it. It reminded me of another Australian book (a classic) called A Fortunate Life by A.B. Facey which is also excellent and one that should be on your TBR list.

Here's what I have to say about Stoner. I'm sure you've read this book. It seems that it's a popular book. I had this book as part of my own book club (I run a book club in my local area) and all the members there loved it too.
