When mother Mattie Lane's (BETTY GARDE) $20 dissappears from Mattie's sewing machine, which Mattie had been saving as a down payment for a vacuum machine, tension arises between Sarah (TEAL AMES) and Mike (JOHN LARKIN) since both Mike and Sarah, especially Mike, suspects Jack (DON HASTINGS), Mattie's youngest son and Sarah's wannabe bad brother, as the culprit.
