The "MINI-EEEC" is a small-scale unit designed to study wind energy and show how certain factors influence a wind turbine's ability to generate electical power.

The axial fan introduces air into the tunnel and a sensor within the tunnel measures the air speed. The moving air causes the wind turbine to spin, which generates power. In real time, the system measures the voltage and current produced by the wind turbine to determine the generated power and the rotational speed of the turbine rotor. The wind turbine directly powers the loads, which can be changed using the DC load module.

This Computer Controlled Unit is supplied with the EDIBON Computer Control System (SCADA), which includes: The unit + a Control Interface Box + a Data Acquisition Board + Computer Control and Data Acquisition Software Packages. These integrated components allow the user to control all parameters involved in the process.
