The city of La Rochelle (region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France), on the west coast (Atlantic Ocean). The city is connected to the Île de Ré island by a 2.9 km bridge. The city is also known to be a Knights Templars largest base on Atlantic Ocean. Every year, the music day event (Fête de la Musique) is celebrated on the port and small streets in old part of city. La Rochelle is located 470 km south-west from Paris, between cities of Nantes and Bordeaux.
