What Are Parks Really Like In Peoria Arizona | Parks In Peoria Arizona Are Amazing | Living in Peoria

Pioneer Community Park - Gorgeous park in Peoria it's located between Glendale and Peoria. This park is fabulous because there's so much for you to do, there's a dog park here which is great, there are bathrooms, things for the kids to do, there's actually a splash park.
Most of the parks that have your lakes do need an urban fishing license if you're over 10 years old so you can get that from the Arizona game and fish department and most of these lakes are stuffed with some trout.
This park features a lot of ramadas barbecues there's a dog park there's lighted ball fields there's a sidewalk area that goes around the lake so you can jog or walk it goes all the way around the lake there.

Rio vista park in Peoria, this park has indoor and outdoor facilities. There's a skate park, lighted baseball fields, soccer fields, a lot of different lakes here. This is the home of the Peoria Veterans Memorial as well. They have play areas here, there's a concession stand there's a dog park. There's a lot of different facilities here outdoors but then what's super cool is that you also have the indoor recreation center. This has a small fee but it sure beats a gym, you have scheduled activities that you can do, and they have a silver sneakers program. Depending on what you're looking for I think you could probably find most things here at this recreational center. You don't have to be a city of Peoria resident, any non-residents can also be a member of this recreational center, you just have a little bit of a higher fee.

Paloma community park, now this one is north Peoria. The newest park in Peoria this park was actually just finished in October of 2020. Paloma is definitely more of a mountainous area it's much further north in Peoria. Definitely bring bring your snacks and water, they have ramadas, they have barbecues lots of play areas. There is a dog park there as well they also have lighted sports courts, lighted pickleball. There is a concession stand there as well it's not always open. What's cool in the fall if you're out there in the evening you'll see the hot air balloons right over the mountain so if you look towards the south you'll see the higher balloons jump up and go over the mountains. It's really beautiful and there's hiking trails, and in the second phase they're talking about putting in a skate park a bmx track so lots of great things to come in Peoria.
