When I received an urgent call from my friends in the rescue community, I knew I had to step in. A cat had shown up at a high school—emaciated, flea-ridden, yet incredibly friendly. This is Gato’s story. After being neutered and placed in a foster home, Gato has made significant strides, but the question remains: Is he ready for adoption, or does he need more time?

As of today, August 17th, 2024, Gato is officially adoptable and looking for his forever home! If you’re in Southern California and think your home could be the perfect fit for Gato, please email [email protected]. Let's give Gato the loving home he deserves!
