Compare The Cost of Grocery Shopping in Mexico vs USA 🇲🇽 🇺🇸

🥩Today we went grocery shopping here in Merida Mexico for some basics and snacks. We kind of like grocery shopping when we travel. We try to get inside a store when we visit a different country. There is an interesting mix of difference yet familiarity in every store. You may see different vegetables or fruits and certainly different brands but more often than not the experience is the similar.

You find food you like. You carry it around with you. You walk up to a person and you pay that person. it's not something to be intimidated by and since we try to stay at airbnb's we like to mix our food adventures with a little cooking at "home"

💲 Of course the costs of groceries in Mexico is where you really notice the difference. NOT everything is cheaper but overall its much cheaper than here in the US. Keep in mind we shopped there like we do here in San Diego. Some if fresh foods, some are snack foods, etc. So this gives you an idea of what a typical grocery outing would look like for us.
