On the second Sunday of Advent, Pastor Becky Fuchs preaches from Isaiah 11: 1-10 and Matthew 3: 1-12. Her topic is “Seeds of Hope.” Worship leaders are Richard Cook and Nancy Wheeler Cook, along with Pastor Don Fitzkee. The Carillon Bell Choir plays “In the Bleak Midwinter” (Thompson) and the Chancel Choir sings an arrangement of “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming” (Schweizer) along with a benediction. Carole Deck, Dave Creighton, Doreen Creighton, April Ditzler, Bob Gish, and Tim Heck perform the dramatic reading “Waiting.” Mark Forsha is guest organist.
