KANA is an illustrator based in China. She specialises in character art featuring some of the best lighting I have seen. Her masterful use of different lighting scenarios elevate the compositions and tell a captivating story in her art.
In this video, I attempt to uncover her techniques and lighting philosophies by analysing and studying from her artworks. I then tried to recreate her lighting style in one of my drawings.
