The title of these sessions raises a very serious question: “Is Calvinism a Cult?” In these sessions we will look at the history of Calvinism; recognizing false Christian groups; the major errors of Calvinism; the lure of Calvinism; a refutation of the perseverance of the saints; the true Gospel, and the difference between evangelical and reformed churches.

In this session we will look briefly at the history of Calvinism as this is important in order to understand why Calvinism holds certain views. We will define what a cult is and begin looking at what a “sect” is in the NT.
