This footage was taken from the High Line webcam from the Earthcam site, overlooking the High Line Park and the Standard hotel. After the bomb took place I went onto this webcam (which is located apparently about a 23-minute walk from the bomb location - the closest webcam to the incident I could find), and checked the video archives (they leave them on there for 24 hours which can come in pretty handy). I went to the time the bomb happened (8.30 pm). On the webcam, I heard the boom at exactly 8:29:56. If you listen, 15 seconds into the video, you will hear the explosion. Unfortunately it is not as clear as the actual footage I watched due to me filming it off my phone. But you can still hear it. I checked all other New York webcams at the exact same time but nothing, too far away. I don't know if there is any other audio of the bomb so this might be the only known audio out there. Again, I apologize for the poor quality. Turn your volume up as loud as possible.
