Michigan Heritage Award recipient and director of the Commonwealth Dance Collective, Sheila Graziano, choreographed the body, chorus, and structure of the routine Vlad's and named it after fiddle tune Vladimir's Steamboat. It can be performed to any reel and features a Rise and Shine style for solos and duets, which can be choreographed or improvised. In this dance Short, you can watch Meagan perform an Irish dancing solo she chose to create based on her long background in the world of Irish dance.

The CommonWealth Dance Collective is an ensemble based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, dedicated to preserving and performing traditional percussive dance styles. Our repertoire includes Appalachian clogging, Irish and Sean Nos dancing, Canadian step dancing, English clog dancing, tap dance, and historical Vaudeville-era Marley dances. We are part of the non-profit Ann Arbor Community for Traditional Music and Dance (AACTMAD).
