IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavior

ASR, has opened the IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavior facilities for firefighters. Partnering with IAFF to help assist both active and retired firefighters. Treatment will vary depending on the severity of the symptoms that the first responder is presenting.

First Responder Fortitude Program

First Responders are not alone; ARS has created a program for first responders that are not in the firefighter union. Fortitude allows first responders, regardless of the uniform they put on, to seek help along with other first responders.


Welcome Home

Transitioning after discharge for treatment is as important as the treatment itself. Family outreach assures that they are prepared when the first responder comes home. First Responder work family; set up a peer support point person, and have those buddy checks and healing continues in real-life situations. Once we understand we are not alone, we start to see that we have support. Providing the tools for the family on both sides of the job will help to make mental wellness normal.
