Allamah Fultali (rah.) – 2005 Mawlid Event, London, UK

A number of brothers have been requesting that we upload a few videos of our beloved Murshid: Shams-ul-‘Ulamah Allamah Fultali Sahib Qiblah (rahmatullahi ‘alaihi).

This video was captured back in 2005 when our Murshid Qiblah graced us with his presence for the Mawlid Event held in London.

Sahib Qiblah’s talk was quite lengthy, but, unfortunately due to the video shaking at places and people walking into the camcorder without looking, we had to edit the video at a number of places, hence the beginning and the end of Sahib’s talk missing.

Alhamdulillah, this video brings back a lot of memories and emotions and even now as you view the clip, you can’t help but admire how graceful he looks, bringing serenity to the hearts of the viewers – may Allah have mercy on him!

The Shaykh (rah.) talks on a number of different topics, amongst them:

The Noble Status of the Companions (radiallahu anhum);

The high station of the human being in the ‘sight’ of Allah Ta’ala;

Sayyiduna Ibrahim (alahis salam) and the frog in the fire;

Sayyidi Ba Yazid Al-Bistami (rah.);

The crux of the Shaykhs talk:

(a) Sayyiduna Rasul Allah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam), his high station, status and maqam with Allah subhanahu wa ‘ta’ala;

(b) Alam-e-Ruhani and what transpired i.e. nur-e-Muhammadi was shown to all the spirits, these who saw with love became the people of iman and these who did not recognise became kafir and munafiqun;

(c) Visiting his rawdah sharif;

(d) Knowing his pure lineage up to Hashim is wajib on the believers: Muhammad ibn Abd’ulllah ibn Abd’ul Muttalib ibn Hashim;

(e) The account of the pre-Islamic King of Tuba and his letter to Rasul Allah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam).
