Officials outline charges against Ghislaine Maxwell following arrest in New Hampshire | FULL

New York Southern District Prosecutor Audrey Strauss and other FBI officials outlined the charges against Ghislaine Maxwell on Thursday.

A longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein, Maxwell was arrested by the FBI on charges related to the investigation into Epstein’s alleged sexual abuse of young girls and women.

“Maxwell was among Epstein’s closest associates and helped him exploit girls that were as young as 14-years-old,” Strauss said Thursday, alleging that Maxwell played a key role in helping to identify and "groom victims for abuse."

Epstein, a convicted sex offender, died by suicide in prison last August while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges that he denied.
