How to Take a Horse's Temperature

Описание к видео How to Take a Horse's Temperature

Learn how to take a horse’s temperature safely and understand a horse’s healthy range when in your care.

All thermometers vary in their operation: some digital thermometers beep when ready, some take a few minutes longer to respond depending on the material of the thermometer. A healthy range at rest is suggested to be approximately 37.5°C and 38.5°C (99.5-101.3°F).

Every situation differs when working with horses, and each horse and its surrounding environment should always be taken into consideration when working with them. We recommend always taking the time to consider and be aware of normal behaviour and health ranges for horses within your care.
