In this Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake guide, I will go over the Liquid Metal Slime, how to find them and last but not least how to farm them for some EXP. Use this to help you blow through the current class your in for levels. Keep doing this until you feel you can class change once or many times until you feel like you can move on in the game. Location Note: There are other spots for Liquid Metal Slimes however this is the best since Slime Island in the Underworld is the way to go.


What spells and abilities you want for the farming - 2:07


Note: IF you have the Puff magic on your mage, make sure you have that Meteorite Bracelet from Ibis castle. This will make sure you go first in casting Puff 9 out of 10 times. This takes two rounds to one shot those metal slimes and yes even the liquid ones. The weapons I suggest is good. Remember no ELEMENTAL ONES. They are immune. I will mention this that Liquid Metal Slimes have 999 defense and really high agility. They have 4-5 hp, and most likely 6hp on highest difficulty. If you get a critical hit they are toast thus Critical Claim is one of the abilities way to go or luck with a critical hit on a normal attack.

Note: Remember these MFers will run away MUCH more than the metal slimes. DO NOT worry if they do this. I had 8 like this and from time to time I got none or one down. Just use the abilities and spells I did suggest.

Just keep on doing this until you feel the need to class change either once or much more. This is the best spot in the entire game to do this without changing any difficulty or other methods.
