GH 05.01.98 - Stefan remembers Laura and proposes to Kat

Back to real time, Stefan takes out a ring, then recalls a conversation with Helena where she tells him Laura left to go after Luke. Stefan believes Laura will return for her son, but Helena calls him a fool. Katherine enters the room, disrupting Stefan's thoughts. She asks about the ring, but he doesn't answer and instead pulls her into a kiss. Next scene, Stefan and Katherine are getting redressed. Stefan tells Katherine that she has been patient with him despite his many faults and asks her to marry him. Katherine refuses. She says she loves him but is happy with how things are. Katherine starts rattling off qualities about Stefan that she loves, then stops herself and accepts his proposal. You won't regret it, Stefan promises.
