Being an alumini of Manipal and at the same time working with them gives me great pleasure. Special thanks to Dr Ballal, members of the Manipal team, Mr Manish and other Doctors present. As I addressed the media, that this tie-up is an important initiative we have planned for the state of Goa with regards to the health care sector. As people had to rush to other places for cure, we needed to take immediate action. Hence we tied up with the Manipal Hospital. I also had a word with Dr Anupama on the plan to have another tie-up with Manipal Hospital for cancer related patients, as we don't have a full fledged cancer specific facilities. To make the best of these facilities, we plan to merge the public-private hospitals so that it becomes much more convenient for all of us.

All this has been possible under the visionary guidance of our CM, Shri Manohar Parrikar. There is no hidden agenda here, we are looking to tie up with Manipal Hospital and create an infrastructure to run it on world class basis. Working towards a #Progressive #Healthy #Goa
