Unit is 240 volts, 3 wire plug is installed, no air dryer comes with unit, it's a steel shell, vary small, about the size of a pair of boots box, it's pretty light and has a larger plastic handle. You WILL NEED a air dryer so account for that when buying plasma. Trigger is nice and has a flip down guard and is vary comfortable to use. This is a pilot arc unit and therefore will have a ground cable. The arc seems to be stable right out the box, but seems to have arc wash compared to my new Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster42. During the first use the arc did randomly blow out but seemed to stop doing that as I used it. It does use more air (CFM then the CM42), over all it's less efficient for air uses and the digital amperage display is nice but not necessary. It's not a vary intricate machine and has only one air flow adjustment, and the knob amperage adjustment. However comparing it to a Custmaster 42 it's Cuts thin material the same just uses more air. If you have the money Thermal dynamics is over all better machine but cost just over a $1000. Another this is keep in mind THE CONSUMABLES, what a pain in the butt, China machine = getting the parts off the net or at Harbor Freight, I know for a fact no welding store in the US will stock the China consumables. BTW if you walk into a normal welding store asking for plasma consumables there going to look at you like your an idiot. There called "cones" "cups" "igniters" "outter shield". One thing ppl don't know torch leads can be retrofitted so if you get a China machine it's cheaper to put a common torch on your machine. Good luck hopes this helps.
