The once thriving hotel that was seriously damaged by an earthquake and a dance club were demolished to make way for new construction. This video shows a tangle of rebar and loading it onto a dump truck. Included was a drone flight to and from the debris deposit site. The motor-generator set was found in the basement of the El Tanga - maybe it was for backup power for the hotel? Demolition start date was September 22 and final date was October 28, 2023. The remainder of the hotel is owned by a different Ejido group and the sale of the property is unknown. Miguel is the equipment operator.
