Wavien Inc. has been successfully promoting the unique DPR platform for several years. This is a versatile optical platform that allows for "brightness preservation" throughout a host of different applications including rear projection, front projection and now in particular, high power cinema projectors. As of September 2012, Wavien is preparing the next generation of DPR for use in the "light-starved" 3D theaters.
